You don’t have to be vested for these!
Greeters
The “face” of St. Paul’s, greeters welcome parishioners and visitors arriving for the service. They invite visitors to sign the guest book and distribute welcome leaflets.
For information on this cheerful, social and rewarding ministry, please contact Sandi Blackaby at 509-529-2261.
Ushers
Ushers help set the tone in preparation for the worship service and ensure the dignity of the service. Their duties include distributing bulletins, prayer cards and service programs before the service and colleting them afterwards; keeping order at the entrance; providing directions; attending to people with special needs; counting people in service; taking the Eucharistic elements to the altar; collecting the tithes and offering; and more.
For information, please contact Hank Henderson at 509-525-7717.
Lay Readers
Lay Readers at St. Paul’s read the Epistle from the New Testament in our celebration of Holy Eucharist. They take great care to read so that the Word of God can be heard and comprehended easily.
If you are interested in being trained as a Lay Reader, please contact Father Birch at fr.rambo@stpaulsww.org or call the church office at 509-525-1083.
